How OptiPay uses your Gmail data

OptiPay was built to save you the manual work of collecting receipts, and that’s all it does with access to your inbox.

What OptiPay reads

OptiPay connects to your Gmail or Outlook inbox for one purpose only: to find and extract business receipts and invoices.

How the data is used

From each receipt we keep only the details we need (supplier name, date, amount and VAT) as a categorized expense record. Personal messages that aren’t receipts are never read, stored or processed.

What we never do

We never sell, share or transfer Gmail data, and we never use it for advertising or to train artificial-intelligence models. You can revoke access at any time from the Connections page.

Google Limited Use

OptiPay accesses your Gmail data solely to find and extract receipts and business invoices for expense tracking and categorization. We do not read, store, or process personal emails that are not receipts, and we never sell, share, or transfer Gmail data or use it for advertising or AI-model training. OptiPay’s use of Google user data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
