Nothing to install on the supplier’s side
OptiPay needs no technical connection to any supplier’s system. It works on the channels those documents already reach you through today.
Your inbox
A secure Gmail or Outlook connection. A first scan works through your history and pulls in what was already sent, and from then on every inbox syncs automatically every 30 minutes.
An invoice that arrived on WhatsApp, or a photo of a document you were handed at the counter, send it to OptiPay on WhatsApp and it enters the system like any other document.
Manual upload
A PDF or photo that reached you some other way is dragged straight in, and goes through the same extraction and categorization.
Which documents OptiPay recognizes
The system tells apart the document types used in Israel, because the difference between them decides what can be deducted:
- Tax invoice
- Tax invoice / receipt
- Receipt
- Deal invoice
- Proforma invoice
- Credit note
- Payment demand
- Account statement
Only a tax invoice and a combined tax invoice/receipt entitle you to deduct input VAT. OptiPay flags the difference instead of leaving it to you.
